Grant County District Court Judge Nicholas Wallace
Judge Nicholas Wallace serves on the Grant County District Court. Before taking the bench, he spent more than 15 years as the managing partner of a Grant County law firm and more than a decade serving as a mediator and pro tem judicial officer in Grant County Superior Court.
Our professional backgrounds share a number of similarities. We both spent many years in private practice here in Grant County, managing local law firms and serving in judicial roles in Superior Court before seeking to serve our community from the bench.
Judge Wallace has experienced firsthand the journey from longtime practicing attorney to impartial judicial officer, and I am encouraged by his confidence in my ability to make the same transition.

Mason County Superior Court Judge David Stevens
Judge Stevens serves on the Mason County Superior Court, where he was first elected in 2023 and reelected in 2024. His legal career spans state, federal, tribal, and international courts. Before becoming a judge, Stevens served as a senior deputy prosecutor, Chief Public Defender for the Colville Confederated Tribes, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, an international prosecutor in Kosovo, and a justice adviser in Afghanistan
This distinguished and varied career began in the U.S. Navy.

Kittitas County Superior Court Judge Chris Herion
Chris Herion serves as a Kittitas County Superior Court Judge.
Before taking the bench, Judge Herion built a broad legal career that included service as a county criminal prosecutor, Special Assistant Attorney General, criminal defense attorney, Judge Pro Tempore, and adjunct criminal law professor. He has also served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the U.S. Army Reserve and previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. His career reflects extensive experience in criminal law, public service, and the administration of justice.
I am very pleased to have the endorsement of Judge Chris Herion. His years of experience as a prosecutor, attorney, military officer, and now Superior Court Judge give him a valuable perspective on the qualities required of a judge. His confidence in my ability to serve Grant County with fairness, integrity, and sound judgment means a great deal to me.
